Hello!

This website was created by me, Sanju Vijayan. I hope you’ve enjoyed looking around and managed to capture the essence of what we do with our charity.

Why Webmaster? Well, I’ve always had a strong interest in visual arts and design. Many of the Gallery photos were taken by me; I also had a big role in creating the charity logo and designing some posters. In addition, I’ve done the odd bit of fundraising for the charity and performed music at a couple of the fundraisers – it’s always good to get involved!

But really, I have a passion for working with people, and especially those less fortunate than I am. It was after seeing the conditions that my parents used to work in and the extreme levels of poverty back in India, that I knew I wanted to be like them and strive to help. I’m currently studying Medicine at Edinburgh University and just completed a BMedSci in Global Health. I love volunteering, healthcare and working for good causes such as this. It’s always been a dream of mine to work side by side with my parents as a health professional and to volunteer as one in the developing world in the future.
